In my exploration of  making images, I embark on a visual journey to capture the interplay of light, color, and texture.  I use mixed media to enhance the image by hand painting, gilding, waxing, and varnishing, thereby making each image unique.

An impressionistic approach allows me to liberate the images from rigid representation, to create a sensory experience that transcends the visual, resonating on an emotional and spiritual level. I draw upon the delicate balance of simplicity and complexity and the interconnectedness of all things. Reality and abstraction converge, capturing not just what the eyes perceive, but what the soul feels.

My work has been on display in Orange County, California at the Chapman University School of Law, Peter Blake Gallery, Bowers Museum, Newport Beach Library, Quorum Gallery, the Sawdust Festival, the John Wayne Airport, the City of Hope, and the City of Laguna Beach. My work has also been shown at several galleries and magazines including the A Smith Gallery in Texas, the SE Center for Photography in South Carolina, the Praxis Gallery in Minnesota, the PhotoPlace Gallery in Vermont, the Decode Gallery in Arizona, Santa Fe Workshops, the Los Angeles Center for Photography, the online BMK Gallery, the PH21 Gallery in Budapest, Hungary, Exhibizone Exhibitions, Orange Coast Magazine, Laguna Beach Magazine, and Artistonish Magazine.
